Once a year Lloret de Mar becomes awash with colour, partying and fun. Carnival arrives in style. If parades, parties and music are your thing, Lloret Carnival is where it’s at!
On Friday night His Majesty Carnestoltes (the Carnival King) takes possession of the ceremonial staff of the town: once partying and fun have taken hold in Lloret, there’s no better way to celebrate than with a nice dish of Catalan sausage and beans with a glass of wine to get the carnival festivities going.
