The route is designed to spend 4 days in Les Garrigues and dedicate a large part of the trip to discovering how companies produce olive oil of such high quality and getting to know the different production and elaboration techniques as well as the variety of products that can be obtained with olive oil.
As you will arrive in Barcelona by plane, you will travel from Barcelona to Vinaixa by train and from there by bus to La Pobla de Cérvoles where you will spend 3 nights in the same hotel.
During the 4 days that you will be in the region you will be able to visit the centre and culture of the olive oil, have workshops related to the olive oil and show-cookings where you will learn how to cook traditional dishes of the region.
Day 1: Arrival at La Pobla de Cérvoles
Arrival in Hotel Casa Llobera, in La Pobla de Cérvoles, where you will stay the first night and we will give you an orientation brief.
Day 2: La Pobla de Cérvoles
On the second day you will participate in an activity in Oleasoul, where you will spend almost all day and will have breakfast, lunch and workshops related to oil and local products.
Day 3: La Pobla de Cérvoles – La Granadella
In the morning you will go to la Granadella to visit the Centre i Cultura de l’Oli and visit the museum and there will be a show-cooking to show how some of the typical recipes of the region are made.
Day 4: La Pobla de Cérvoles – Back home
On the last day, in the morning, walk around the village and departure.
