In the spring of 1906, Pablo Picasso settled in Gósol. The artist and his companion Fernande Olivier spent between May and August, 11 weeks in this town of the Catalan Pyrenees. Picasso was tired of being a painter linked to tradition and thus began his so peculiar new pictorial language. For two and a half months, these particular landscapes inspired the artist’s new style.
We invite you to discover the colors, to absorb the sensations, to walk in the calm to let the colors of Picasso penetrate you. For a few days, leave behind the stress and let yourself be enchanted by the smells, the colors and the sensations.
